Secretary’s report for the April 10th meeting was read and accepted.
Old
Business:
Trash
report: We have 93 subscribers. We have $12,311
in the bank, so with expenses, we estimate a five thousand dollar profit. Still holding the seed money separate.
Community Pot-Luck: After the
Annual Meeting. Should start at 12 o’clock.

We reviewed that there is an alphabet assignment
for dishes to bring.
·
Some people got this info via the newsletter, some
did not.
·
Need to make arrangements to get the tables set up
early – to set up the food.
·
Betsy, Marsha, others to show up at 9:00am.
·
Note – recommend that no animals for the mayoral
race attend because of the food service.
·
·
Make sure all donation jars are set out.
Calendars – Peggy wants someone else
to take over for the 2011 edition. Need pictures and reconsider a printing
resource. They cost $5 to make and sell for $12, could go to $10.

has made a request to CostCo for the drinks.
Kristi
reports that the dunk tank is not available. She is looking into other options
like, if the local high schools might have one.
Joe will
call Jacquelyn Michelson to bake stuff.
Joe and his Mom will bake 5 cakes.

Social – Marsha – all taken
care of.
Chili PotLuck – September 18th.
– Betsy will start calling people now to organize.
Talent show?? After we eat?? Concern that people will ignore
performers. Susan will help Betsy.
ArtOber Fest – Victoria

Betsy had to leave the
meeting at 11:45.

Loren Bykerk has
completed 40 easels.
·

Last year we had 34
vendors who committed to donate for this year. Sent 34 letters out – got 1
reply so far. Jeffery and Victoria will be going to the ‘MAC’? show to see if they can spot some of these vendors.

wine, Art procurement, storage (Carol Guthrie), Auctioneer, Live Auction setup,
Minimum value, Artists Bio, Catalogue, Advertising, Ticket Design, cost.

Kristi says that her
friend with Auction experience made her commit to X number of tickets.

Kristi – we need to come
up with a drop dead time line for all this to happen.

1st cutoff is
the Art donations.

2nd cutoff is
the advertising. How about a
mailer? Send tickets with a return stub/payment?
New Business –
About a spot on the ‘Square’.
The
Tim McFarlan – we need a review of the WFA Agendas and Activities for the
last several months.
Also a look ahead.
Joe Lupa volunteers to do the write up.
