WALKER FIRE AUXILLARY MEETING MINUTES

This was a quick meeting due the need to set up for the Ice Cream Social and Car Show

Secretary’s report for the July meeting was read and accepted.

Trash Talk with Victoria: We have one new member of the Trash Club.

Joyce Hyman reports that the Trash Committee books have been audited and all is in order.

Joyce recommends that we maintain 2 accounts - $ for the current year and the other account for the donation to the WFPA.

August 14^th – Ice Cream Social.

Proceeding as planned – today.

Mayoral Race update with Victoria – The race will conclude and the winner will be announced at the Ice Cream Social.

We have over $1,600 so far. Freckles is in the lead.

September 18^th – Chili Pot Luck

· Bill Loughrie has offered to chair the event.

Calendars - Deb Crann

Deb reports that the calendars are ready to sell.

Next year’s theme is flowers of Walker

We all said that Deb did a Wonderful job! Thanks Deb.

Open Item – Victoria brings up a possible conflict with WFPA meeting time change and the WFA meeting schedule. Possibly move WFA meeting to after the Pancake Breakfasts?

Maybe ‘winter hours’ is a consideration. Needs more discussion, later.
